A-frame (rail changer) type mechanical jacks, head clamping/lifting screw type mechanical jacks, conventional mechanical ratchet type track jacks, and various hydraulic rail jack types are among the many kinds of rail jacks that we make. Every one of these jacks is made to the highest standards of craftsmanship and has undergone safety inspections at several points throughout production.
The best jack for ballast track maintenance tasks is the rail head lifting kind. For general all-purpose maintenance, it clamps the rail head and raises the rail up to 200 mm. Since this jack is basically a screw-type mechanical jack, it simply needs thread lurication and is incredibly long-lasting and little maintenance.
The A-Frame (Rail Changer) Type Jack is a very practical jack that was conceptualised and designed for simplicity of rail lifting and moving in numerous directions (axis). It is a screw-type jack that clamps or loosely holds the rail head, enabling the rail to travel in its own line or direction. Additionally, it permits movement in the lateral direction and has a lifting height of 400 mm. Overall, a very heavy-duty and helpful jack.
The mechanical ratchet type jack is a traditional jack that raises the rail from either the head or the toe. Up to 300 mm of lifting is supported. In most cases, a rod (crowbar) is used to operate the jack.
